I’ve always felt like I was born into the wrong decade.
Well, the wrong century.
It’s a feeling I fear I’ll never shake for as long as I live. It’s almost as if I’m a stranger in a strange land.
Or a time traveler that has annoyingly lost the directions to her time machine.
I reluctantly wander through a land where:
-The people feel wrong
-Societal protocol erodes quickly
-Our language is consistently dumbed down and raucous to the ear
-And the fashions, I daresay, leave much to be desired…

She’s the type that does not need anyone else’s recognition.

How satisfying.
She finishes off what remains of her latte, packs away her copy of The Economist, dons her Saint Laurent cat eye sunglasses and steps out onto the street once more, ready to take on whatever comes with grace and poise..
